Over the past 20 years, I’ve drawn inspiration from my environment and the world around me to influence my design practice. The Australian landscape is a constant source of inspiration for me, it’s where I grew up, it’s where I feel at home.

In 2006 I transferring my pattern making and designs skills from mainstream fashion into Modest Fashion, after converting to Islam in 2004 . Little did I know that this would be the start of building the foundations of the Modest Fashion Industry, a journey that completely change my design practice in such a new and exciting way. Fast forward to 2025 and modest fashion has become mainstream, yet the industry is still craves talented modest fashion designers.
